Squeezeimg is a web-based image compression and optimization platform built to help businesses improve website performance, SEO metrics, and user experience.
It solves a common issue faced by content-heavy websites: how to reduce image size without compromising visual quality or disrupting publishing workflows.
Developed as a standalone solution, Squeezeimg supports large-scale image operations, modern image formats, and compatibility with widely used content management systems.

Solution
We developed a tailored image optimization system built for enterprise efficiency, integration flexibility, and long-term scalability. The backend was developed using Java with Maven, while the interface was built with JavaFX to support cross-team usability.
We implemented optimized compression logic to balance size reduction with perceptual image quality. To support modern web standards, the platform handles multiple formats, including WebP, JP2, and AVIF.
An upload module was designed to handle up to 20 high-resolution images simultaneously (up to 50 MB each), streamlining large-scale media ingestion.
To embed compression functionality directly into CMS-based environments, we created a plugin adaptable to diverse editorial systems. The system also includes an API layer for automated processing, helping teams integrate optimization into continuous deployment or publishing pipelines.
After rigorous QA and load validation, the system was fine-tuned for stability and rolled out as a dependable media performance tool aligned with Core Web Vitals standards
