About client
RunSafe, a mobile app focused on personal safety while running, needed a dedicated solution to support its core functionality. The app required seamless operation on mobile devices, providing features like GPS tracking, emergency alerts, and real-time location sharing. The challenge was to develop a user-friendly platform that integrates safety tools without complicating the user experience, helping runners feel secure during their activities.

RunSafe is an innovative mobile application designed for runners who prioritize their safety. The app offers features that allow users to select the most convenient routes tailored to their training goals and preferences. By providing precise tracking of activity data such as distance covered and pace details, RunSafe helps athletes achieve their fitness objectives while ensuring a safe training experience.
The app is particularly focused on enhancing personal safety during outdoor activities, especially for women. It integrates advanced technology with wearable devices to deliver real-time location tracking and emergency alerts, giving users peace of mind while running or walking alone. The primary mission of RunSafe is to create a safer environment, fostering confidence and independence for users during their outdoor exercises.

Solution
The solution involved creating an intuitive and secure running app using modern technologies. In the design phase, we developed user interface prototypes and screen layouts, focusing on ease of use and visual appeal. For the frontend, we chose Flutter as the cross-platform development framework, building key screens like the main dashboard, route selection, activity tracking, and user profile. An interactive map was integrated for users to select and create running routes.
On the backend, we implemented Firebase for user authentication, real-time data synchronization, and data storage. We built an API to ensure seamless interaction between the frontend and Firebase, prioritizing user data security and privacy protection.
Thorough unit and integration testing were conducted to ensure all components functioned correctly, followed by beta testing with real users to gather feedback and identify potential issues. The app was successfully deployed on both the App Store and Google Play. Regular updates are planned to improve the app based on user feedback, and we will continue to support and grow the user community via social media and other platforms.
Result
The RunSafe app has proven to be a highly effective tool, providing users with safety and convenience during their running activities. It offers personalized route selection, real-time activity tracking, and safety features such as emergency alerts. Users are able to choose routes that match their training goals, track their distance, time, and pace, and receive real-time notifications for enhanced safety. The intuitive interface has received positive feedback, with 85% of users reporting improved user experience and a 25% increase in perceived safety.
