RunSafe is a cross-platform mobile application designed to enhance runner safety through real-time tracking, intuitive route planning, and emergency alert features. The app offers a streamlined experience for both beginner and advanced users, enabling them to monitor distance, pace, and duration while staying connected to emergency contacts. Integration with wearable devices ensures consistent performance and faster access to assistance when needed.

Solution
The development of RunSafe followed a full-cycle product strategy — from user-centric design to secure infrastructure integration and field-tested performance. The core objective was to deliver a reliable mobile solution that balances usability with critical safety features.
- Design & UX: We created a motion-adapted UI optimized for fast navigation and in-motion interaction. The UX was validated through prototype testing with target users, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and smooth access to core features like SOS triggers and route planning
- Cross-Platform Development: Using Flutter, we delivered a unified codebase for iOS and Android. This approach reduced time-to-market and enabled scalable implementation of GPS-based route mapping, real-time activity monitoring, and user profile management
- Cloud Infrastructure & Data Security: The backend was built on Firebase, enabling real-time data sync, secure authentication, and reliable cloud storage. A custom API layer ensured stable communication between client and server components, while all sensitive data was encrypted to meet modern mobile security standards
- Integrated Safety Layer: Key features like emergency alerts and live location sharing were deeply integrated into the app’s core, offering immediate response options in high-risk scenarios. Wearable compatibility extended these features beyond the smartphone, enhancing safety coverage

Result
RunSafe successfully met the strategic and technical goals defined at the outset, delivering a functional and safety-driven mobile solution for the fitness industry. The app was well received by its initial audience, validating both the UX approach and the integration of real-time safety tools.
Key outcomes within the first 3 months of launch:
- 85% of users rated the interface as intuitive and easy to navigate — confirming the usability of the UX in real-world scenarios
