MealForks is a unique online platform created for food enthusiasts who are passionate about cooking and sharing their recipes. The platform is not just a recipe website but an active community where home cooks and professionals can come together to explore new trends, share cooking tips, and improve recipes collaboratively. MealForks provides users with the opportunity to discover new flavors, enhance their favorite dishes, and get inspired by others' ideas. Regardless of the level of culinary experience, the platform offers convenient tools for communication and skill development. During the development of MealForks, it was essential to create a place where every user could easily find interesting recipes, modify them, and share their culinary masterpieces with other community members.

Solution
The development of the MealForks platform involved several key stages to ensure its functionality and user-friendliness. First, the project architecture was designed using technologies like React.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, allowing the creation of a scalable and responsive platform. The user interface was built using Chakra UI, providing intuitive navigation and adaptability across devices. Next.js integration was essential to optimize SEO and improve site performance.
For user management, a registration and authentication system was implemented, allowing personalized profiles displaying activity, recipes, and rankings within the community. A points-based ranking system was developed using Redux Toolkit, motivating users to engage with the platform through recipe submissions, reviews, and modifications.
Search and filtering functionalities were implemented with RTKQuery, enabling users to search recipes based on ingredients, difficulty level, and preparation time. A recipe editor built with Formik allows users to modify existing recipes and improve the platform's content. All data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database, with APIs facilitating smooth interaction between frontend and backend systems.
Finally, comprehensive testing was conducted to optimize performance and ensure that all features function correctly, with regular updates and improvements based on user feedback.
Result
MealForks has become an essential tool for culinary enthusiasts, offering a user-friendly space for recipe sharing, modification, and community building. Within the first three months of launch, user engagement increased by 35%, driven by the interactive recipe-sharing feature and community collaboration. Thousands of user-generated recipes are now added monthly, enriching the platform's content.
