About client
Howlur simplifies the process of finding local businesses, service providers, and remote workers for companies of any size. The client needed a mobile platform that would work seamlessly across all devices, offering easy access to a wide range of local services. The main challenge was to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface that connects businesses with the right service providers, helping them efficiently manage operational needs. The platform had to unify various service offerings and provide a smooth process for interaction between businesses and service providers. The goal was to create a solution that allows businesses to easily manage their service needs through mobile devices without overwhelming them with complicated functionalities.
About project
Howlur is a versatile mobile application that combines the functionalities of a social network and a service-finding platform. It allows users to easily find trusted professionals for everyday tasks such as plumbing repairs, lawn mowing, or moving services. Local businesses can create profiles, promote their services, and find clients in their service areas, earning reviews and boosting their ratings. Howlur is designed to simplify daily tasks, fostering seamless interactions between users and businesses. The main objective of the project was to develop a user-friendly mobile app that efficiently connects businesses with service providers, ensuring smooth management of operational needs across mobile devices. Howlur addresses many needs, combining convenience, speed, and reliability in interactions between clients and businesses.

Solution
We developed the app using Flutter, creating a cross-platform application with a unified codebase for both iOS and Android, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices. Firebase was integrated for reliable data storage, real-time database management, and user authentication. The search functionality was powered by Algolia, enabling fast and accurate filtering, allowing users to find services and businesses quickly.
For financial transactions, we integrated Stripe, ensuring secure payments within the app. Stripe Connect was used to allow businesses to receive payments directly. We also implemented a review and rating system, allowing users to leave feedback on services, helping businesses maintain their reputation. Additionally, we implemented a real-time chat system to facilitate communication between users and businesses, with notifications to keep users updated on new messages and order statuses.
Result
The Howlur app proved highly beneficial by streamlining the connection between users and local businesses. For businesses, it provided a comprehensive platform to showcase services, boost visibility, and receive secure payments for completed work. Users benefited from a user-friendly interface that made it easy to find and hire reliable professionals. Built-in chat and review systems improved communication and ensured high service quality. Overall, the app enhanced service accessibility and supported growth for local businesses by simplifying everyday tasks.
